Shelley’s work was not built from theory.
It was born from lived restoration.
After decades in nursing and ministry,
she began to recognize a deeper pattern—
Women who loved God
yet felt disconnected within themselves
Not lacking faith
Not lacking understanding
But carrying something
that had never been revealed
Something the body was still holding
Her own journey led her into a deeper way of listening—
not just to the mind
but to the body
the story
and the Spirit
A process where what had been held
began to be revealed
And what had been disconnected
began to return to wholeness
From that place, Artful Storywork™ emerged
Not as a method to fix—
But as a way to engage
what is ready to be revealed
Through creativity
curiosity
and presence
Where shape, symbol, and story
become a language—
and what has been carried
is finally given form
Shelley does not position herself as the healer
She works in quiet partnership
with the Holy Spirit as Counselor—
trusting that transformation happens
when what is hidden is brought into the light
