DREAM LESSON EIGHT: PAINT
You have reached the Summit of Dreams.
Pause here.
Look back at the path you have climbed.
You crossed the divide.
You awakened what had gone quiet.
You listened for the whisper.
You reclaimed desire.
You found your compass.
You began to embody the life you imagined.
You named the woman who will carry it.
And now, you are being invited to make it visible.
Paint is the sacred practice of giving form to what has been stirring within you.
Throughout DREAM, much of your work has happened in the unseen.
A longing.
A possibility.
A whisper.
An image.
A dream.
A woman you are beginning to recognize.
Now, all of it comes to the canvas.
Not to create a perfect picture of your future.
Not to make a vision board of everything you hope will happen.
And not to control where the story goes next.
You are painting what is alive in you now.
This is the work of Wind.
Wind cannot be seen.
But we know it is present because something moves.
And in this final Artful Storywork™ practice, you will allow movement, air, intuition, and the unexpected to become part of the making.
Let the wind participate.
Let your hand move before your mind has decided what something means.
Let the layers carry pieces of what you have discovered.
Your desires.
Your values.
Your dreams.
Your name.
Your becoming.
Some marks may remain.
Others may disappear beneath the surface.
Trust the process.
You do not need to know what the painting will become before you begin.
That is part of the invitation.
You are practicing what DREAM has been teaching you all along:
To listen.
To imagine.
To trust.
To loosen your grip on certainty.
To follow what is stirring.
And to participate with God in bringing something from the unseen into the visible.
When your painting is complete, it will not be a map telling you exactly where your life is going.
It will be a witness.
A witness to what awakened here.
To what you heard.
To what you desire.
To the woman you remembered.
And to the possibility you are now willing to carry forward.
You have reached the summit.
The landscape is open before you.
The wind is moving.
Your canvas is waiting.
Make the invisible visible.
When you are ready, begin the lesson.
You Have Completed Paint
You have reached the Summit of Dreams.
Pause here for a moment.
Look at what you have created.
What began as something unseen—
a stirring,
a whisper,
a desire,
a possibility—
now has form.
You made the invisible visible.
Your painting does not need to explain your dream.
It does not need to predict your future.
It is a witness to what awakened within you along the way.
You crossed the divide.
You awakened what had gone quiet.
You listened for the whisper.
You reclaimed desire.
You found your compass.
You began to embody the dream.
You named the woman who will carry it.
And now you have given what was stirring within you a place on the canvas.
Wind stirs.
And something has stirred in you.
Take a moment to stand at the summit and look out over the landscape before you.
You may not be able to see the entire path from here.
You don't need to.
You have recovered something far more important:
Your capacity to imagine what could be.
But a dream is not meant to remain at the summit.
Eventually, we must carry it back into our lives.
Possibility asks for participation.
Vision asks for courage.
The unseen asks to become visible.
The dream asks to be created.
And that is where the pilgrimage takes you next.
Ahead lies the Lost & Found Forest.
You cannot yet see everything waiting for you there.
Only the beginning of a path.
The glow of something in the distance.
And an invitation to keep walking.
You will enter the final element carrying everything you have gathered so far—
what you have felt,
what has been restored,
what you have dreamed,
and the woman you are remembering.
Now you will learn what it means to create from that place.
Not through striving.
Not by controlling every outcome.
But in relationship with the Creator Himself.
You are the co-creator of your life.
The wind has brought you to the summit.
Now it is time to carry the dream down the mountain.
When you are ready, continue onward to:
CREATE · THE ELEMENT OF FIRE
The Lost & Found Forest is waiting.
