DREAM LESSON ONE: DIVIDE
As you stand at the beginning of the Summit of Dreams, we begin by looking honestly at what happens when we become disconnected from our ability to dream.
Division.
Not because you stopped being creative.
Not because God stopped speaking.
But because life has a way of teaching us to become practical.
Responsible.
Careful.
Realistic.
We learn to do what needs to be done.
We care for other people.
We meet expectations.
We survive disappointment.
And sometimes, without realizing it, we stop listening to the part of ourselves that once imagined what could be.
The dream becomes quieter.
Desire gets buried.
Creativity gets pushed aside.
And the woman who once wondered, What could my life become? begins asking only, What needs to be done next?
For many women, there was also a moment when creativity became unsafe.
Someone criticized what you made.
Dismissed an idea.
Called your dream unrealistic.
Made you feel foolish for wanting more.
Or perhaps no one ever told you that your imagination mattered in the first place.
So you learned to hide it.
This is the creative wound.
And over time, it can create a divide between the life you are living and the life still stirring within you.
The purpose of this lesson is not to tell you that the life you have created is wrong.
It is not to make you dissatisfied with what is.
And it is not to force you to find some enormous dream.
It is simply to notice where you stopped dreaming.
Where did you become practical instead of curious?
Where did you learn to shrink?
Where did you stop trusting your desires?
Where did you disconnect from your creativity?
Where did you stop imagining what might still be possible?
And what might be waiting on the other side of that divide?
You do not need to know yet.
For now, we are simply standing at the threshold.
Looking across.
Listening.
Becoming curious about what may have gone quiet.
Because your imagination is not frivolous.
It is part of your God-given creative power.
And perhaps DREAM is not about inventing a completely different life.
Perhaps it is about awakening something God placed within you long ago.
Something that has been waiting beneath responsibility, disappointment, fear, and survival.
The summit is ahead.
But every climb begins by recognizing where you are standing.
As you move through this lesson, remain curious.
Remain open.
And give yourself permission to wonder again.
You are not being asked to know the dream yet.
You are simply being invited to cross the divide.
When you are ready, begin the lesson.
You Have Completed Divide
You have reached the end of Divide.
Take a moment to pause at the beginning of the Summit of Dreams.
What has been revealed here is not evidence that you are uncreative.
It is a story of disconnection.
The practicality.
The shrinking.
The dreams you stopped naming.
The desires you learned to dismiss.
The parts of yourself you tucked away because they felt unrealistic, unsafe, or unimportant.
Honor that.
There were seasons when survival required your attention more than dreaming did.
But survival is not your final destination.
Your imagination is still here.
Your creativity is still here.
Your desire is still here.
And the woman God created with the capacity to wonder, imagine, and bring something new into the world is still here.
You do not need to know exactly what you are dreaming yet.
You only need to become willing to listen again.
Because what has gone quiet has not necessarily disappeared.
Sometimes it is simply waiting to be awakened.
When you are ready, continue on to Lesson Two: Awaken.
The climb has begun.
And something within you is beginning to stir.
