HEAL LESSON FOUR: SURRENDER
As the River of Restoration continues its gentle work, you are being invited into a sacred release.
Many wounds leave behind more than pain.
They leave behind stories.
Vows.
Agreements.
Judgments.
Conclusions we made in moments when our hearts were trying to protect us.
Some of these burdens have been carried for so long they have become familiar.
Like stones gathered along the path.
Heavy.
Yet strangely difficult to put down.
As you journey through this lesson, imagine each story, vow, agreement, or unforgiveness as a stone you have carried in your hands.
You do not have to carry them forever.
The river is waiting.
Not to erase your story.
But to carry away what was never meant to define it.
As you sit beside the River of Restoration, notice what feels heavy.
Notice what your soul is ready to release.
One stone at a time.
One burden at a time.
One surrender at a time.
When you are ready, begin the lesson.
You have reached the end of Surrender.
Take a moment to stand beside the River of Restoration and look at the water.
Notice what is no longer in your hands.
The stories.
The vows.
The agreements.
The burdens you were never meant to carry alone.
One by one, you placed the stones into the river.
And one by one, the current carried them away.
Not because they were unimportant.
But because they no longer belong to your future.
You do not leave this place empty-handed.
You leave lighter.
Freer.
More open to what God is restoring within you.
When you are ready, continue on to Lesson Five: Hold.
For once your hands are no longer occupied by what needed to be released, they become available to receive what has been waiting for you all along.
