I didn't just want to understand what happened. I wanted to heal.
After losing my dad to suicide and later becoming sick myself, I spent years searching for answers—studying whole-person health, trauma, the brain and body, faith, and healing.
But I discovered that knowing why I hurt wasn't the same as healing from it.
I needed something that reached beyond my mind—to my body, heart, and spirit.
When words weren't enough, I turned to the canvas.
That journey became Artful Storywork™.

Artful Storywork™ is a Spirit-led creative wellness practice that brings together body-based artmaking, story, and spiritual guidance to make what's happening beneath the surface visible.
Informed by whole-person health, somatic awareness, and the growing field of neuroarts, Artful Storywork™ recognizes that our experiences involve more than our thoughts. Creativity gives us another way to notice, express, and explore what we're carrying.
Through color, shape, texture, movement, reflection, and Spirit-led guidance, we give those experiences another language.
