HEAL LESSON SEVEN: DWELL

You have entered the waters of restoration.

Now the invitation is to remain.

Many women have spent their lives moving.

Solving.
Fixing.
Producing.
Achieving.
Carrying.

Even healing can become another form of striving.

But the River of Restoration invites a different rhythm.

A slower rhythm.

A deeper rhythm.

A sacred rhythm.

The invitation of this lesson is not to do more.

It is to dwell.

To dwell in the presence of God.

To dwell in the goodness that is already here.

To dwell in what is true.

To dwell in what is beautiful.

To dwell in what is worthy of your attention.

As you stand in the waters of restoration, notice what happens when you stop rushing ahead.

Notice what emerges when you become still.

Notice what becomes possible when your soul no longer has to fight for a moment of peace.

The river is teaching you that healing is not always found in movement.

Sometimes healing is found in remaining.

Remaining in love.

Remaining in truth.

Remaining in beauty.

Remaining in the presence of God.

When you are ready, begin the lesson.

You have reached the end of Dwell.

Take a moment to notice what has settled within you.

The river has carried away what needed to be released.

The waters have restored what needed to be renewed.

And in the stillness, something beautiful has begun to emerge.

For beauty is often revealed when we slow down long enough to see it.

As you leave this place, carry with you what is good.

What is true.

What is beautiful.

What is worthy of dwelling upon.

The pilgrimage now invites you into a final act of expression.

Not to create something perfect.

But to give visible form to what has been happening within you all along.

When you are ready, continue on to Lesson Eight: Paint.

For there are some things the soul can only say through color, shape, and form.
